Aviva Solutions Releases Version 10.0 of Aviva® for
Desktops™
.NET interoperability and a revamped installation program are two of
many features that come with our newest release.

July 12, 2005 Aviva
Inc., a worldwide provider of secure host access and
integration solutions, today announced the release of Aviva®
for Desktops™ version 10.0, an improved desktop emulation
program that provides secure host access to a variety of host
systems such as IBM mainframes and AS/400s, DEC, Linux and
UNIX hosts over SNA and IP networks, for Windows
platforms.
This new release of
Aviva® for Desktops™ features XP style and theme support, the
inclusion of previous maintenance fixes and usability
enhancements, including:
.NET Interoperability – Programs written in .NET are more
robust and secure. This feature allows .NET applications to
access and automate Aviva® for Desktops™ and vice-versa. C#
automation samples are also provided to guide programmers.
Printer Associate – Aviva® for
Desktops™ now supports the TN3270 printer associate feature.
The printer session is activated automatically when the
display session is activated.
Installation – The installation of
Aviva® for Desktops™ is now more flexible and quicker. The administrator
is able to configure the program for one or for all session users
simultaneously. Also, an express setup has been added to speed up the
installation if only one type of connectivity is used.
