Dear Aviva customers and partners,
Since the acquisition of Aviva Solutions in mid 2002, Scanpak Inc., the global leading provider of integrated asset management solutions using wireless networks and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies, has enjoyed tremendous success and customer loyalty with Aviva’s comprehensive offering of host connectivity products. On behalf of everyone here at Scanpak/Aviva, I would personally like to take this opportunity to thank each and every channel partner along with our many end user customers for the support and dedication given to Aviva products. We would also like to thank the many new partners and end user customers who have since placed their individual trust and support in Aviva products.
As a division of Scanpak Inc., Aviva continues to deliver reliable and quality software products to an expanding base of worldwide customers in the financial, transportation, government and healthcare industries. Aviva has brought to Scanpak the expertise and innovative technologies so that we can continue to provide robust, cost effective solutions that provide secure access and integration to mission critical data and applications running on IBM mainframes, AS/400, DEC and UNIX systems.
We are proud some of the major accomplishments that Aviva has achieved since the acquisition. Here are just a few:
Aviva joined the Oracle Partner Network, and is now a member partner of Oracle.
Aviva launched Aviva Host Integration Software Developer's Kit™ (AHISDK™) a comprehensive solution that enables system integrators and developers to create new, secure Java based business applications that can connect to legacy applications running on the host.
Aviva released version 10.0 of Aviva for Desktops, our flagship 3270/5250 terminal emulation solution.
Aviva’s OEM program was expanded to include software developers who embed Aviva products in applications such as call center solutions; Internet enabled secure payment solutions; automobile dealer management systems to name a few.
Aviva’s strong support of Java based technologies secured a 20,000 seat order from a major international customer who required 3270/5250 support from desktops and Internet browsers.
Aviva introduced Aviva Xpress, a robust but cost effective small business terminal emulation solution that provides secure host access from PC, LINUX, UNIX and MAC desktops.
As operating environments are updated and new ones introduced, our customers and prospective customers can be assured that Aviva products will continue to evolve in support of the changing desktop and network technologies deployed in the information technology marketplace.
