Host Print Transform dialog box

(5250 printer sessions only)

This dialog box lets you select the printer that you are going to use, either a specific PC printer type or a workstation customized object.


Configuration options

Printer Selection
Printer Model
Lets you specify the specific PC printer type that you want to use. Select a printer from the list.

Workstation Customized Object
Customizing Object: Specify the name of the workstation customizing object to be used.

Customizing Library: Specifies the name where the workstation customizing object is located. The default value *LIBL specifies that the library list is used to locate the customizing object.

Use ASCII code page 899
Specifies that code page 899 is used.

Paper Source
Drawer 1/2
Specify the type of paper loaded in each drawer.

Envelope
Specify the type of envelope loaded in the printer.


To open the Host Print Transform dialog box


In a workspace

1. Start the User Workspace.
2. Select an existing session and click Properties, or click New.
3. Click the Configuration tab.
4. Click New to define a new session, or
Select an existing session and click Properties.
5. Click the Terminal tab.
6. Select Enable host print transform.
7. Click Configure.


In a session

1. Start a session.
2. On the Session menu, click Properties.
3. Click the Terminal tab.
4. Select Enable host print transform.
5. Click Configure.
