The following commands are available in the display session window.
New Instance: Opens a copy of the session you are using.
Connect: Connects the session to the host.
Disconnect: Disconnects the session from the host.
Properties: Opens the Session Properties dialog box which enables you to change the configuration settings for the session (if you have permission to do so).
The Session Properties dialog box will have different tabs depending on the type of session you are configuring.

Print Screen: Prints the emulation screen contents. You can print to a monochrome or color printer (although the output remains monochrome), or to a file. When you print the emulation screen contents to a printer, Aviva for Java automatically adjusts the size of the printed data to use the full width of the paper that you are using.
Copy: Copies the selected text to the clipboard. To copy the entire screen, use Select All.
Paste: Pastes the contents of the clipboard at the current cursor position on the screen.
Select All: Selects all the text on the entire emulation screen.
Toolbar: Lets you show or hide the toolbar in the display session window.
Display (Display sessions only): Opens the Display Area Configuration dialog box which enables you to change the configuration settings for display sessions (if you have permission to do so).
The Display Area Configuration dialog box will have different tabs depending on the type of session you are configuring.

Hotspots (3270 and 5250 display sessions only): Opens the Hotspots dialog box.
Keyboard: Opens the Keyboard dialog box.
Play: Plays the selected macro.
Pause: Pauses a macro that is being recorded or played.
Manager: Lets you create, modify, delete or edit a macro.
Send/Receive file: Opens the Send File or Receive File dialog box, which enables you to transfer files with the host using the IND$FILE protocol. You can exchange files with the host using data storage options available for the following environments: CICS, TSO, and VM.
The Options button opens the Transfer properties dialog box (Transfer Properties dialog box/tab), which enables you to customize file transfer options from their default settings.
To send or retrieve a file, you must have an open display session, and be at the host prompt line (for example, "READY" in the TSO environment).
File Transfer Options: Opens the Transfer properties dialog box (Transfer Properties dialog box/tab), which enables you to set file transfer options.
CICS/TSO/VM: Selects the host environment.
